Deep crimson. Lovely blackcurrant, mocha, grilled nut aromas with espresso, hint liquorice notes. Generous pure cassis, dark plum, praline, hint demi-glace flavours, fine grainy. graphite firm tannins, very good mid palate density, well-integrated mocha, roasted almond notes and underlying mineral freshness. Finishes chocolaty firm with some tobacco leaf notes. Grange in cabernet clothing. Should age brilliantly well. Drink 2026 – 2050

A very complex mash-up of exotic black fruits, with high amplitude - always one of this country's finest Cabernets. A wine of great generosity - alive with the flavours of black currant, damson plum edge, cassis and licorice strap, fig and vanilla - all with a creamy seamlessness proclaiming a very special wine. Long-lived, to be sure.
