In a vintage known for richness, the team has cleverly harnessed this power to form a wine of precision and flourishing flavour, yet laced with delicacy for the entire ride. Strawberry and maraschino cherry abound, wrapped in truffle oil and nuances of gamey spice. Terrific stuff, and it only gets better as the mid palate purity and concentration lead on to a long, aromatic finish, restrained and yet impossibly everlasting.

Light bodied red wines have a water-light mouthfeel and light flavour impact. Often pale to light/medium in colour.
