Patrick SullivanGippsland Pinot Noir
About this product
In 2016 Pat and his wife Megan planted their first vines on their own property in the Strezlecki Ranges. Patrick makes wine with meticulous viticulture and minimal intervention in the cellar and From 2022 Patrick has narrowed his focus to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir only. The fruit for the idiosyncratic Patrick Sullivan Pinot Noir comes from two vineyards: Berry's Creek in South Gippsland and Maffra in Central Gippsland. Berry's Creek is planted to a high density of 7000 vines per hectare at 200m above sea level on volcanic loam over clay. The Maffra vineyard was planted at sea level to MV6 Pinot Noir on soils of sandy loam and clay.
