90% 60- to 100-year-old Grenache, 5% 40-year-old Syrah, 5% 60- to 100-year-old Mourvèdre from Pied-Gü, Les Teyssonnières, La Boussière, Les Dentelles and Le Cayron. 75% whole bunch. Aged for 10 months in one- and two-year-old barrels then 12 months in foudre. To be released early summer 2022. Cask sample.
Very dark blackish purple. Very ripe and rich but with real life to it. Sweet and spicy and then with pretty marked dry tannins. Very embryonic indeed. Almost wild in its gaminess."
