16.5 points, Jancis Robinson, September 2021>50-year-old Marsanne (80%) and Roussanne (20%) vines from the granitic soils of Gervans, Habrard and Tenay. Aged for 10 months in new and one-year-old barrels (Allier, Tronçais, Jupille). Lanched in spring 2021.Slightly flat and oily on the nose. A hint of flowers and very broad spread across the palate without that much acidity in evidence. Sleek and satin-textured with an undertow of power. A little bitterness on the end. More interesting than many a white Crozes but probably not for the very long term. Pretty weighty.
