I have been fortunate in recent years to taste many bottles of this wine from the 1980s in masked lineups, each time (although less as time wore on) confounded as to their provenance. Moss Wood pinot noir has developed a reputation over the years for its capability to age gracefully in the cellar. Here, through the lens of the near-perfect 2018 vintage, the pristine and piercingly intense fruit shows longevity and pedigree, in wonderful balance with all aspects of its makeup.
