Odyssey Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Both Katnook Estate and winemaker Wayne Stehbens have garnered a justified reputation for producing wines of utmost richness and complexity. The pinnacle of their 'Cabernet Tree', the Odyssey is so highly regarded that it comfortably sits in the 'Outstanding' classification in Langton's Classification of Australian Wine. Aged for 35 month in French oak, this 2006 Odyssey contains brooding aromas and flavours of dark berries and spicy plums that are meshed with espresso and cassis fruit beautifully. Now with a few years in our climate controlled cellar, this Cabernet with muscle is ready to be enjoyed with any hearty meal.
