About this product

The Home Block is where it all began back in 1980, and our quest to perfect Martinborough’s venerable style continues here today with some of the oldest Pinot Noir vines in New Zealand. Winemaker Paul Mason’s pursuit of perfection starts in the vineyard and can be found in every structured, balanced, nuanced glass of Home Block. Home Block Pinot Noir has sort black cherry and dark plum characters, laced with spicy, savoury notes that are beautifully balanced. The wine's broad, mouth filling weight and richness unfold with long, fine-grained tannins and lingering acidity. We recommend enjoying with crispy duck or slow-roasted lamb, best enjoyed now or cellar for 5-15 years.
