Glenfarclas was first licensed in 1836, and this limited edition bottling has been produced to commemorate Glenfarclas' 175th anniversary. A remarkbale blend of single malts from their oldest malt from 1952 and a malt from each of the following five decades to produce this exceptional bottling. The taste marries the heavy sherry from the 1950's and 1960's with the light fruitiness of the 1970's and 1980's, the freshness of the 1990's and the surprising maturity of the youngest casks from 2000. With six decades in one glass, you are sure to enjoy this historic whisky.

This Scotch has a strong rich flavour reminscent of Jamacian rum at times, but seems to shift flavours and textures the more you drink. Very smooth, and reasonably affordable for its pedigree.
