LeasinghamBin 61 Shiraz 2008
About this product
Created back in the 1960s as a way to best showcase the best fruit available to the Leasingham winemaker. That same dedication to quality continues to this day and is clearly evident in the 2008 vintage. Known as a blockbuster vintage throughout South Australia and especially the Clare Valley, we did the clever thing and tucked some away in our climate controlled cellar a few years ago and now release it to you in prime drinking condition. Still ripe and voluptuous with notes of chocolate, cedar and cinnamon spice, this is Bin 61 for the ages.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Strong crimson; a medium- to full-bodied shiraz with a strong, ripe tannin foundation augmented by 18 months in oak; there is ample rich black plum and berry fruit to provide the flesh on the bones.
