The 1993 Distillers Edition is a unique expression of Scotch Whisky due to the influece of European Oak in place of American. The result is a very different Caol Ila with a sweet, almost gummy nose with hints of clove. The clove continues on the palate which is then finished off with typical lovely smoke and peat flavours.
