The resulting wines are majestically perfumed and quite feminine. That being said they also have a powerful side to them, enabling them to age extremely gracefully and for long periods. The 2008 vintage was nice and welcome change in Bordeaux with some warm days helping the richness of Pomerol come to the fore beautifully.
