Château La Fleur-PétrusPomerol 2008
About this product
Château La Fleur-Pétrus continues to be one of the leading houses in Pomerol. Situated right across the road from Château Pétrus, but on far different soils. Stony with large elements of gravel without a trace of clay or sand to be seen. The resulting wines are majestically perfumed and quite feminine. That being said they also have a powerful side to them, enabling them to age extremely gracefully and for long periods. The 2008 vintage was nice and welcome change in Bordeaux with some warm days helping the richness of Pomerol come to the fore beautifully.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
