Tarrawarra Reserve chardonnays are a bit less full throttle than they once were; subtlety, balance and restraint have become the drivers of the style. The ''08 is a very good example that blends citrus and white-peach fruit with classy oak into a luxuriously smooth, mellow, complete wine of persistence and refinement.?
