Château MontroseSaint-Estèphe 2008
About this product
Château Montrose, a name translated as "rose-coloured hill", can rightfully claim to be one of the 'Super Seconds', referring to its 2nd growth classification. Lovely crisp, clean tannin with new oak flavourings and fruit that carries it are all hallmarks of Montrose. The recent past has cemented Montrose as a very important Château in St-Estèphe. The 2008 is a welcome change from recent vintages with some lovely succulent fruit tending towards a full-body.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
