Château Domaine de l'EglisePomerol 2008
About this product
Sitting high on the plateau, the soil at Château Domaine de l'Eglise is of the gravely kind that empart a refine and perfumed nature to their Merlot dominant wines. Always a great value producer, their 2008 has quite luscious up front fruit from the slightly warmer vintage than that of 2007. The lose knit tannins also prove a very attractive early drinking Pomerol.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

...Chewy, fleshy, and dense...this appears to be one of the top wines produced here in many years.
