The recent history of Château de Myrat is an interesting tale indeed. In 1975 due to financial hardship the owner at the time pulled up all the vines as he was no longer able to afford the upkeep. Luckily the new owner replanted just in time before planting rights were withdrawn! With 2 decades under their belt, wines of rich and lusciousness are produced and the wine from 2008 is a lovely follow on from the 2007 vintage with unctuous sweetness and delicate acidity all at play.
