About this product

Cheval Blanc is one of Bordeaux's most famous vineyards lying on the border of Pomerol and easily the most important estate in St-Émilion. Uniquely a blend dominated by Caberet Franc, Cheval Blanc's wines have a powerful bouquet which is spicy and rich which is followed by fruit that is soft, mellow and liquorous. Matched only by Pétrus in the realm of vigour and concentration, Cheval's exuberance is not to be missed. The 2008 vintage Cheval Blanc is a wine of immaculate balance between fruit richness and great structure. Early season rainfall and warmth gave way to a perfect picking season in later September and October to enable the house to release a wine of true greatness.
