Château CarbonnieuxPessac-Léognan 2008
About this product
Château Carbonnieux is an important estate in the Pessac-Léognan region of Bordeaux that dates back to the 12th century. Having be rejuvinated (again) at the hands of Marc Perrin in 1956, this rustic Cabernet Merlot blend is an ever improving wine and their 2008 shows the typical spicy flavours and subtle cedar character with a nice supple velvet texture from the slightly warmer vintage conditions compared to 2007.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
