About this product

The Schulz family have a long and distinguished history in the Barossa Valley and the Butcher's Block Shiraz Grenache Mataro pays homage to era when the family were an essential part of the meat trade in the region. Part of the wine for this blend comes from the original old vine plantings that date back to the mid 1800's. With concentration that is more often seen in McLaren versions of this blend, the wine exudes complexity with plenty of ripe fruit with balanced oak integration.

Amazing wine for the price. Thoroughly enjoyed this and would be a great wine to take for a casual dinner party or BBQ with friends. A true crowd pleaser.

This is one of those wines where you take a sip and go, "Hey. This is good." It has a depth of flavour and satisfying mouth feel that shows it's on the next level. Yet it's not super expensive. Give it a go and you'll be sold.
