Gapsted's Petit Manseng has wonderful notes of restrained troplical fruit and pineapple with some balancing sour notes. Bracing acidity and a superb length of flavour.

The grapes for this rare (both here and overseas) variety came from two vineyards, one high in the King Valley, the other lower. It's hard to pick any defining varietal attribute, poached peach in contrast to intense lime juice; the overall flavour intensity is remarkable, and very promising.

This is an intense wine with loads of appealing flavours; sweet and sour, pithy, pineapple and restrained tropicals. All with brilliant length.
