A miraculous wine. Really bloody delicious. Feral, sweet, leathery and yet juicy and long through the finish, the cow paddock dressed up for show day. Slaking tannins, fine, firm and joyous. Curranty and chocolatey and pruney too. Here's where wine gets emotional. An unstoppable wine. Tasted when the wine was over 50 years old.

COLOUR: Deep brick red. NOSE: Coffee/mocha/gamy/grilled meat aromas with some camomile/leather notes. PALATE: A fleshy, supple, smooth wine with mature meaty, gamy, mocha flavours and satin-textured tannins with a long fruit sweet finish. A famously great vintage.
