A lovely Chardonnay by any standards. It would score higher, for me, if it had been given another 12 months in the cellar before release. Just a bit too youthful at the moment. But a small quibble and one soon fixed. From the Yarra Valley, pale straw with a glint of green. There is a hint of cashew and nutmeg oak. In 6 to 12 months, this should be fully integrated and very much a positive. Fragrant nose, lemon with a touch of the tropicals. Fresh, vibrant with good concentration and intensity throughout with attractive peach notes emerging on the palate. Drink now although it will improve over the next 4 to 5 years.
