Domaine Armand RousseauCharmes-Chambertin 2007
About this product
Domaine Armand Rousseau is considered by many to not only be the 'top of genre' for Chambertin, but for all the Cote d'Or. Armand, the man, had a family history that included vine growers, coopers, merchant's and courtiers and this allowed Armand to procure land in prestigous areas which were and have become Grand Cru vineyards. The 2007 Charmes-Chambertin is a wonderfully floral and fragrant Pinot Noir with layers of violet and gentle spiciness. In the mouth the fruit is supremely pure and refined, but will uncoil itself over the next 5 to 10 years.
