Penfolds Bin 389 is the trademark Australian red wine. Affectionately known as 'Baby Grange' or 'Poor Mans Grange', Bin 389 was the wine that helped to build Penfolds' solid reputation with wine drinkers around the world. A magnificent blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz from the very best regions and vineyards available to Peter Gago and his team, the robust nature of the Cabernet grape give structure and body to the wine while the opulent Shiraz fruit provides suppleness and intensity. With 2008 delivering what many thought to be the perfect vintage, this is the 389 you need to own.

A great wine that never change in quality. When a firend introduced me to this wine I was a bit pessimistic looking at the price thinking all reds wouldn't taste much different. But I gave it ago anyway and booy I was wrong and thanked him

I love Grange and 707 and this is a good wine, but I personally don't think it's a great wine. I heard so many wonderful things about this but I feel it's overrated. I think there are a lot of $20 wines out there that are as good and better
