About this product

Seikyo Ginjo is a Hiroshima style Sake; fruity and semidry. Uniquely the yeast used in this Sake comes from apple skin which gives a beautiful fragrance. A lovely apéritif.

Except the price, the sake itself is really a good one. It deserves you to buy a bottle, store in your fridge and everyday has a small bottle from it.

We drank this while eating imported Japanese Wagyu over a small charcoal fire in Northbridge, Perth. My sake experience has become quite advanced, and my Japanese wife and I were very pleasantly surprised how well this drank.

I have been to Japan a lot of times and i have tried a lot of kind of sake before. This is a real good sake with Junmai Ginjo grade (almost 50% of rice is polished before the fermentation process, I think.) Value for the money I paid.

Fantastic fresh sake, not too dry, not too sweet. You can enjoy it cold, warm or eve just at room temperature.
