About this product

While the eastern half of Australia struggled a little with the 2007 vintage courtesy of drought conditions and some frost events, over in the west conditions proved to be ideal for producing wines of utmost character, complexity and pedigree. Cape Mentelle have a long and distinguished history of producing quality Cabernet Sauvignon, and in 2007 they have been able to craft a Cabernet for the ages. Rated a whopping 96 points from James Halliday and with a drinking window that is firmly open until the mid 2020s, this is a true star from our 2007 Cellar Release.
