Easily the best so far. Nose is sweet and smokey. Sweet and smokey and smooth to sip from the first sip to the last. I loved it at the first sip and was expecting it to change but it didn't. Therefore I did not try with water or ice..

I discovered Kilbeggan (Cill Bheagáin - the church of [St] Bégán) a couple of years ago while on a holiday in the Gaeltacht, and have endeavoured to keep drinking it ever since. I enjoy in particular its smooth finish and flavour..

I've been looking for a great Irish whiskey for a little while now. Tried Tullamore DEW (very good), Bushmills (not bad), Teelings (slightly rough); but Kilbeggan...mmm -great - vanilla bouquet, slight pleasant after taste and very smooth
