About this product

Lucas Bols, the world’s oldest distilled spirits brand originally established in 1575 in Amsterdam, has relaunched its Dutch Genever, a white spirit created almost two centuries ago. It is made by blending a unique distillate called malt wine with a carefully selected secret blend of botanicals.

Certainly in this price range, my favourite spirit. Very pleasant to drink straight. I prefer un-chilled, although chilled seems to be popular. I hope it becomes available again at Dan Murphy's.

I drink it like Gin. Mix it with tonic and fresh lime. Complex and delicious. Genever also makes a great cocktail mixer
