Bonded refers to the 1897 “Bottled in Bond Act”. The act states a bonded spirit must be 100 proof, aged 4 years and produced in a single distilling year by a single distiller. The results is a richer, fuller flavoured Bourbon Whiskey with stamp of quality that comes with the iconic name of Jim Beam.
