Came across this sake at a Japanese cooking class by Great Master, Hideo Dekura. Totally sublime, gentle and am a convert (hated sake before). Lash out, this is special, and, it's LOCAL!

This is my personal favourite sake but, it should be said, it does not have a classically 'good sake' taste. Its rather unique, singular and sweet. It is not a 'poor quality' sake, but could be confused as such by someone put off by its unc

I would ignore some of the reviews by the drama queens in this thread. This is an excellent starting point to sake, the flavour is very similar to Gekkeikan, only $5-$7 cheaper per bottle!

Strong alcoholic smell, not smooth

I have had better Sake. This smells very alcoholic to me and it is not as smooth as other Japanese Sake I have had.
