Smith's Angaston Single Malt is a unique undertaking by Robert Hill-Smith in the heartland of Australia's wine trade, the Barossa Valley. Smith's Angaston Whisky opens up with coconut, vanilla and sawdust flavours that is followed by the intense caramel and sweet barley sugar flavour, which is rounded out by a mouth feel of lanolin, estery and a mouth coating oiliness.

Maybe not the best Australian whisky ever produced, but the better bottlings from the likes of Larks and Sullivans cove can be hard to find and quite expensive. Smith's Angaston easily stands up to these well known Tasmanians however. Craft
