To clear things up This is not a Sake, it is a light spirit, can have a base of rice,wheat,barley,sweet potato etc I usually make Chuhai out of it, which is just adding soda water and a twist of lemon. Was told by some staff at Dan Murph

I tried this sake at Dan's the other day and loved its whisky kind of flavour so I bought a bottle. I like to drink this after a few beers as a night cap. I think this one is good to drink on a few ice blocks or just neat.

I've just been drinking this on ice and it's like sipping a good Scottish whisky but with the intensity dial set to about 6. Very easy to drink. If it wasn't for the relatively low (by spirit standards) alc/vol of 25%, I'd say perhaps too e
