Lake's FollyCabernets 2006
About this product
Lake's Folly was the first new vineyard in the Hunter Valley last century, established by Max Lake and his family in 1963. The property changed hands in early 2000 to Peter Fogarty and his family who, along with local Hunter winemaker Rod Kempe, have continued to maintain the integrity and direction of the Folly. The 2007 vintage was a good one. The seventh straight year of drought, saw lower yields but produced wines with great intensity of flavour with no compromise to their balance and finesse.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
