Bin D681. Sure it's medium in weight but the profile is classic. It's even-handed, fluid, spread with fine-grained tannin, but not defined by it. The palate flows from blackcurrant to mulberry, from cedar wood to milk chocolate, from bay leaves to sandalwood. It won't knock you between the eyes, but it will mature gracefully, and beautifully.
