With a name originating from the estates first owner, Ducru, and the name of the vineyard itself, Beaucaillou, "Ducru" has long produced wines of utmost elegance and lovely balance. Recently some firmness and power has been present, but the beauty of flavour still remains.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
