With trademark pebbly soil, Tertre comes under the stewardship of Philippe Gasqueton (of Château Calon-Ségur) and produces wines of considerable finesse. Considered by many as an underrated cru classé, the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot blend has begun to take giant strides in the past 20 years.
