Château Cheval BlancSaint-Émilion 2007
About this product
One of Bordeaux's most famous vineyards lying on the border of Pomerol and easily the most important estate in St-Émilion. Uniquely a blend dominated by Caberet Franc, Cheval Blanc's wines have a powerful bouquet which is spicy and rich which is followed by fruit that is soft, mellow and liquorous. Matched only by Pétrus in the realm of vigour and concentration, Cheval's exuberance is not to be missed.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

91 points The Wine Advocate
‘Medium-bodied with beautiful fruit, sweet tannin, and a heady finish, this lovely wine should drink well for 10-15 years.’ Robert Parker The Wine Advocate #188 Apr 2010
