Château FigeacSaint-Émilion 2007
About this product
A beautiful, fine old property that was once apart of the famed Cheval Blanc estate and just like Cheval, the vineyard soils are two-thirds gravel and the remaining third on sandy soil. Unlike Cheval Blanc though, Château Figeac is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon rather than Cabernet Franc. The 2007 shows austere fruit with a pure and clean palate. Will reward short term cellaring.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
