Old Mout Scrumpy is New Zealand's take on the classic Cider style. Made from local NZ Apples, rich in flavour, lightly sparkled. It carries a sweet apple aroma with a hint of honey.

real cider taste, not full of marketing fury at maximum dollar.

This one is not for Aussies drinking the run of the mill cider manufactured from pulp and sweetened with things. This is a drop of the 'better side' of cider. The one the marketing people are trying to replace and thus make their fortunes.

This scrumpy style is nice and dry, not overly sweet like most other ciders. If you've tried some others, particularly the flavoured ones, and found them too sickly-sweet then this is for you! More bang for your buck too, as being higher in

While the taste is very overpowering at first it mellows after each bottle and is quite enjoyable.The berry variety is even better but only available as a 750ml bottle not stubbies

Alcohol initially strong, however mellows to an enjoying cider

The high alcohol content is particularly noticeable in the first taste, however this lessens to allow one to enjoy the cider, which does have a sweetness to it, though not very obvious as in some others
