Mongeard-MugneretGevrey-Chambertin 2006
About this product
The appellation of Gevrey-Chambertin is home to some of the world's greatest red wines and are also considered the regions most powerful. Often described as being 'masculine' in nature, Gevery is considered the 'King of Burgundy'. Mongeard-Mugneret produce a Pinot that mirrors the appellation characteristics remarkably well with powerful notes of blackberry and deep, ripe plums. Firm, but balanced acid/tannin balance give the wine a real platform for long term cellaring.
