With 2007 being a challenge for most in South Australia, Penfolds are in the luxurious position of being able to 'cherry pick' the best fruit from the best regions and still produce a Bin 389 that is looking quite superb after over 5 years in bottle.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.

Strong colour; has the strength of all the ‘07 Penfolds’ reds, with an array of black fruits, dark chocolate and vanilla/mocha; the tannin structure is particularly good for the vintage.
