Considered by many to not only be the 'top of genre' for Chambertin, but for all the Cote d'Or, Domaine Armand Rousseau has has forged a reputation of utter quality for over 100 years. Clos de la Roche is the Domaine's only plot of land not located in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin. These Grand Cru vineyards produce a wine very expressive of the power and richness of Morey-Saint Denis Pinot Noir. Red currants, strawberry and spice, the '95 has aged beautifully with elegant complexity and will continue to do so will careful cellaring.
