Leeuwin Estate Art Series Chardonnay is one of the rare Australian Chardonnay's with a pedigree and structure which enables long term ageing. Trish and Dennis Horgan's property located in the heart of the Margaret River contains thousands of gum trees which act as a natural wind break allowing the 'Gin Gin' clone held within to fully ripen with the perfect amount of acid retention. The 2003 comes from a well regarded vintage in the Margaret River which has resulted in wine that has stood the test of time. With over 10 years in bottle, the '03 is perfectly suited to being enjoyed solo or with an accompaniment of subtle food flavours.
