DalwhinnieMoonambel Shiraz 2002
About this product
Dalwhinnie Moonambel Shiraz is based on predominantly colonial vine stock material: the versatile PT23 clone (derived from Busby stock) and Best’s 1860s Concongella selection. Winemaking comprises controlled temperature vinification in closed fermenters and extended maceration. The wine is matured for 18 months in new (30%) and seasoned French oak barriques. Blackberry pastille, white pepper and garrigue notes with underlying oak and fine, tight, tannins are typical characteristics.
