Ambar in colour and hence its name, Dos Equis Ambar is one of the world's most hedonistic beers. Not at all heavy, it's an incredibly delicious explosion of caramel and burnt sugar flavours. Yet at the same time, it's subtly spicy, fruity, and bitter. A well structured and complex beer it is frothy and persistent with a long finish.

Smooth and full of flavour, there is nothing much wrong with this beer - great with steak and pork, however for lighter meats such a poultry, try the lager rather than the ambar.

What isnt this stuff more popular? Folk seem to flock to that horrible Corona stuff, while ignoring this. far better quality and available in a lighter coloured version too. At 4.5 this rates as a heavy (first tick in the box!) Refreshing,
