Intense, tight and silken. It boasts pencilly, chocolatey oak on gravelly, clovey, cassis-like fruit. There''s eucalypt here but it works - as it often does with cabernet sauvignon. I was tempted to go for a gold medal-liker score but the tannin seemed to stop (just) short of the fruit flavour. I suspect that this will resolve itself in time. An excellent cabernet no doubt.
