In the central German state of Hessen, where Frankfurt-am-Main is located, Schöfferhofer is the undisputed Weizen beer market leader. Its name comes from the German word for wheat, which together with barley, are the raw materials for the malt from which the Weizen wort is brewed.

Brewed in Frankfurt and readily available at the Frankfurt Hbf, Crystal Clear Wheat Beer is the best, sold in 1/2 litre bottles and drank out of the same size glass 500ml, yum!

Just picked up my first pack of this very easy drinking crisp beer. Brought back fond memories of drinking beer in Germany. Very nice smooth flavour with no bitter after taste. Goes down very well with some Cabanossa on a Friday afternoon
