Classified as a 3rd tier Growth of Bordeaux, Château La Lagune is a beacon of quality in the Haut-Médoc appellation with their vineyards having undergone massive regeneration over the past 50 years to ensure this standard of excellence. 2003 was subject to scorching summer heat which produced fruit high in sugar and low acid. The blend consist of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc all combining to create a jammy nose with a hints of herbs and spice, creamy palate and soft tannins.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
