Pio CesareGrignolino del Monferrato Casalese
About this product
Pio Cesare of Piemonte produces a range of extremely well made wines at various price points, from single vineyard Barolo to more affordable examples of native varieties such as Nebbiolo and Barbera. A medium-bodied dry red made from the Grignolino grape, native to Piemonte in the north-west of Italy, it shows raspberry, cherries, pepper, rose and musk. The palate is bright in fruit and acidity, but nicely balanced.
