Leeuwin Estate Art Series Chardonnay has long been on of Australia's true cellar stars and one of the rare Chardonnay's that can stand the test of time. Trish and Dennis Horgan's property located in the heart of the Margaret River contains thousands of gum trees which act as a natural wind break allowing the 'Gin Gin' clone held within to fully ripen with the perfect amount of acid retention. The 2000 was borne out of a warm and generous vintage that produced a Chardonnay of utmost concentration. The acid structure and expert winemaking has paid dividends as this exquisite white wine is drinking well into its second decade.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
